My name is Censor-Man, The Artist’s representative, and this is the first blog post for Sketch Comics Inc.  Since absolutely no one knows what that is, allow me to explain myself.  A little over a year ago, The Artist began a comic strip called Sketch, that updates twice weekly. Since then, Sketch has reached over 130 pages.  Since it began, The Artist started a secondary strip, called Doodle.  The comic exists on censor-man.deviantart.com, and has it’s own website now at sketchcomic.webs.com, in addition to a page on facebook. Recently, a friend of The Artist has started his own comics, StrykeOut!, and Into the Indigo, which are now featured on Sketch’s website. This gave him the idea to begin hosting other comics on the website. Hopefully, this will grow into something interesting. 

So here’s a quick rundown of each comic:

Sketch:

Sketch is The Artist’s main comic strip, and has over 130 4-panel pages as of now. The comic centers around 4 main characters: Jack, Chris, Maddie, and myself.  The catch is that the four of us, and all other characters, are perfectly aware that we are all drawings, and we frequently interact with The Artist.  The comic follows the adventures of us four in our interactions with each other and the Artist’s other drawings. Sketch updates on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Doodle:

Doodle is a series of one-off comics that are usually three panels, but sometimes four, or one.  These pages have nothing to do with Sketch, except for sometimes featuring some minor characters. The comic has no set schedule, and as of now only has 10 pages.  It’s only a side project after all.

StrykeOut!:

StrykeOut! is the first comic on the site that isn’t made by The Artist, instead being made by Mychal, a friend of his.  It has a similar one-off style to Doodle, and the pages usually run six panels.  There are only a few pages so far, but there is plenty of room to grow.

Into the Indigo:

Into the Indigo is a second strip by Mychal, and is set in the world of Pokemon.  It doesn’t have a schedule yet either.  The story is set after the events of Gold and Silver, and focuses on new characters.
